Fillers

ActIVate Drip Spa provides FDA-Approved Dermal Fillers designed to reduce aging caused by decreasing collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, which are mechanisms of the skin designed to give skin fullness. Fillers are most used on the face and hands, and can efficiently fill hollow cheeks, plump lips, elevate deep creases, diminish the appearance of scars, lift a brow or upturned mouth, and erase fine lines.
Dermal fillers are often made from hyaluronic acid, a protein found naturally in the body and safely absorbed by the body over time. Aesthetically contour the face, correct symmetry, and even restore your youthful glow with fillers.

DERMAL FILLER TREATMENT AREAS

JAWLINE

Curious to define your chin or jawline? A weak jaw and double chin can be a thing of

the past with modern advancements in aesthetic medicine. We can help you

sculpt a strong, more defined jawline with strategically placed filler injections

above the masseter and along the jawline.

CHEEKS

As we age, we all lose fullness in our cheeks, causing our face to sag and

hollows to set in. Fillers can restore fullness in the cheeks and add projection

above the cheekbones allowing you to look and feel younger.

CHIN

A strong chin is a common trait among people who are considered to be

more attractive. Many fashion models and celebrities seek to enhance the

projection of their chin with a combination of fillers and Kybella.

DERMAL FILLER FAQS

Bigger lips? Lifted cheeks? Cuter chin? Fillers do it all. Dermal fillers, or soft tissue fillers, are products made from substances such as hyaluronic acid. These substances can reduce the appearance of wrinkles and creases, raise depressed scars, and odd contour to the lips and cheeks. Fillers are long-lasting but temporary solutions that are administered in the comfort of our office. Products are selected based on each patient’s preferences and desired outcomes.

The face loses volume as we age due to our decline of collagen reserves, so fillers help restore this. Fillers are also used to augment the profile to our liking. Common treatment areas include:

  • Lips can be enhanced for shape, size, symmetry, and proportion
  • Cheeks can be more defined and made more attractive
  • Chins can be pronounced and projected
  • Noses can be smoothed to improve the shape and correct bumps or divots. This is also known as a non-surgical nose job.
  • Hands lose volume with age. Fillers can be injected into the hands to give them a more youthful appearance.

The dermal fillers that are used in our practice have naturally-occurring ingredients such as hyaluronic acid. Therefore, there is no need for allergy testing before dermal filler treatment and most patients are excellent candidates for this cosmetic solution to aging and other facial concerns.

No wait time here. You will see results immediately after treatment. Although, the full effects of your filler injections develop 2–4 weeks later as fillers settle in and swelling decreases.

Fillers are not permanent because the body naturally absorbs them over time. The longevity of the products can vary from person to person, but results typically last between 6 months to two years. However, they do degrade over time. Positive filler results are maintained through regular, repeated treatments every few months to years to soften the signs of aging.

Most people require at least one syringe or more to properly treat an area. We do not offer half syringes.

If you receive filler treatment with a hyaluronic acid product, such as RHA Collection Juvéderm, RevanesseRestylane, or Belotero, you may have some or all of your filler dissolved if you are not completely satisfied with your results. Treatment to dissolve hyaluronic acid dermal fillers involves injections of Hylenex®. Most fillers are dissolvable in 1-2 treatments.

This non-invasive treatment lets you resume normal activities immediately. You can drive yourself home or return to work, no recovery is needed!

As with any injection, patients may have some slight redness, bruising, and swelling immediately afterward. Good news, Social Butterflies! This is nothing some camouflage makeup can’t fix.
